Presidio + Baonecci

Saturday morning we went to the Farmer's Market. 

Tripp got an Oyster Po' Boy Sandwich from Hayes Street Grill - fried oysters, lettuce and cole slaw.

He really liked it!

This guy was strutting all around us trying to get food.

They have THE BEST fruit. We go to this same lady at the market. I could eat it all day, every day.

We waited until it got sunny and headed to the Presidio. Tripp and Roger went golfing in the Presidio, but we hadn't been together. Girl (that would be me - that's what Tripp and I call me. And I call him "boy" - it's just what we do) did some research and found a free shuttle from market to the Presidio. We didn't know if we were at the right place, but we found it eventually!

We wanted to see 2 things: 1) Inspiration Point (good view of the city) and 2) Lover's Lane. It could have just been us, but it was HARD to find your way in the Presidio. I got frustrated really quickly... which is apparent in the amount of pics we took ha. It was not very fun.

To start the trek to Inspiration Point, we started behind the Inn at the Presidio.

Then we saw this sign with an owl on it that said Inspiration Point... WTF. This couldn't be it. So then we saw some other people walking higher and we followed them...

... and got to this view. It was at least better than the first view, but nothing super special.

We walked around some more and then decided it was time to head back to the city :) I packed a bit and then we headed to Baoencci, a place I had seen on IG in North Beach. It was overall ok. Not great service and pizza was OK.

Those are perfectly sliced pears on my pizza :) The gorgonzola on it was super strong, but I liked it overall.

Stopped by Stella in North Beach for some dessert that we took back to the apt at ate together.

Berry cheesecake (on razorback plates) :) SO yummy!

I left for the airport around 8am the next morning (Sunday, Mother's Day) and as soon as I checked in, they said all flights into NWA had been cancelled due to storms. SO... I headed back to the apt with plans to fly out at 6am on Monday am. Good news was I wasn't missing seeing my mom in NWA because she, my dad, the Drapers + Memom and Rannan are all in FL for the week! :( Cannot believe Tripp and I are missing it... but hoping we can go next year.

I knocked on the apt door and said "I'mmmm bacccckkkk!!!!" :) Definitely not ideal to be flying most of the Monday work-day, but cannot complain WHATSOEVER for another night together!
