Cinco de Gaga/Mayo

Working from home... I sit in the same spot mostly all day. The apt is 500sq feet and I'm on calls most of the day, so I cannot sit in a coffee shop and get a change of scenery most of the time. There isn't a Jazzercise that is close to the apt, so I've looked into other places to work out. I have wanted to try Soul Cycle for a while and finally bit the bullet. I was SSOOO excited to sweat and get my heart racing!

I got to Soul Cycle - super nice, clean and lots of energy just walking into the studio. I put my bike shoes on and headed in the room to get on my bike. The instructor was so awesome. She had crazy, frizzy hair and tons of energy. It was also a themed class - "Cinco de Gaga" since it was Cinco de Mayo but all Lady Gaga music. From the moment the class started, I was obsessed. I'm not used to working out with men, but I liked doing a workout that a man would do too. Maybe it's because Jazzercise is mostly women, but I enjoyed it. It was so fun, I would totally do it often if it wasn't ridiculously expensive ($30/class).

After class, Tripp and I met at Uno Dos Tacos & Tequila off market. We hadn't been before, but I think it was the best mexican we've had in the city... and everything is fresh and it was cheap!

Tripp was stressed from the moment we got there because there were people everywhere and it was loud. I knew if we didn't have a place to sit, it would ruin it for him... so girl went on a mission and found 2 seats at the bar. SCORE!

Every thing from tortillas to agua fresca is made in house. ALL FRESH and you can taste it. It’s a fun indoor atmosphere and even has an outdoor patio for warm nights!

Everything was really good - the tacos, chips and guac/salsa. Will definitely be back. We loved Cinco de Mayo in the city! :)
