Tripp and I took BART to the airport and met my parents. It was so fun to see them in the airport we sure frequent a LOT!
We took them to the View Lounge at the Marriott hotel after we dropped off their luggage at the hotel. It has a great view of the city and we caught up on life.
Tripp and I had to work on Thursday, so my parents explored the city. They sent us some pics during their adventure. Apparently my dad was super tired and his legs/feet/hips were dying after walking around. I mean... gramps.

We headed to Plouf in Belden Place for dinner - This alley is one of my favorite parts of the city. It's hidden and you wouldn't notice it if you didn't go searching for it.
We sat outside under the awning and had an awesome dinner.

They are famous for their mussels and mom loves them, so it was a good match!
Because there is never a dull moment - this is my dad trying to be dramatic so the waiter would see after he bit into a pearl (a BIG one) in an oyster.
We took Uber to Chile Pies for dessert. This place has been on our bucket list and it was good!
You choose your pie and then they mix it with ice cream for a PIE SHAKE. Brilliant. We got 2 peanut butter/chocolate pie shakes to go and walked through the Castro. Tripp and I haven't spent much time in the Castro, so it was good to walk through it. Interesting crowd ;)
The team sent me this pic after a meeting we had today - I'm on the phone that Amanda is holding, Laurie is on the phone. 3 state conference call :)
