Tiburon - Ferry & Breakfast

Us old folk went to bed early on Friday night, so we were up early on Saturday morning! Tripp was in a funk on Saturday am as we were getting ready for a day in Tiburon. He doesn't like the process of getting to places. He's always glad when we get there, but he gets stressed before hand. 

We realized right before we left the apt that the ferry left Pier 41 down at Fisherman's Wharf and not the Ferry Building close to us... so that meant a 25min walk that we weren't expecting. We walked most of it in silence (thanks to that stress I mentioned earlier and NO coffee), but then we got there with time to get coffee. Woo hoo! All was well once we got on the boat.

The ferry left at 9:45am and made 3 stops. First to Angel Island, second to Tiburon and third to Sausalito. Leaving the city...

We hadn't seen Angel Island before, but definitely want to explore this island before our time is up in SF. The majority of the people on the Ferry got off at Angel Island... but it doesn't look like there's anything on the island so we don't know what everyone was going to do!? Now off to Tiburon!

We headed directly to Sam's Anchor House which has an outdoor patio that sits right on the water. It was beautiful! We got there early (most of the crowd seemed to get there around 11ish) and got a table right next to the water.

We both got Omlettes and there were so-so. The potatoes and the pesto-sauce were my favorite parts of the meal :) Even though the food wasn't amazing, experience was worth it!
