Wednesday Night - Late V-Day Dinner

We tried to make actual Valentine's Day dinner reservations a couple weeks before and turns out, we were way behind everyone else. So we decided to book our fun V-day dinner later in the following week so it wouldn't be so busy and we wouldn't have to pay a premium for Uber rides ;)

We checked out a few places, but decided dinner on a boat would be pretty cool. We had reservations at 5:30 at Forbes Island, close to Pier 39 so we could be there for the sunset.

After we walked down some stairs into the boat, we are under water and there are windows where you can see fish shadows swimming by!

Our table was right next to this fireplace. So warm and cozy!

We wanted to go up on the lighthouse and watch the sunset, so we got a drink and headed on up. It was SO beautiful! We had a great view back into the city and into the bay.

We had an awesome dinner (we both got filets) - one of our favorites in the city so far. Here are some pics after our dinner and heading back into the city.

I was of course wanting dessert to top off a fab meal, but I wasn't a fan of the dessert menu at Forbes Island. I had Schulzie's on our bucket list and convinced Tripp to go there for dessert. Score!

  

I walked in and I was in heaven. It's a bread pudding bar.

I tried a few flavors and landed on Toffee Crunch with whiskey sauce and ice cream on top. YUMMMMMMMM.

It was a great night we won't forget. We got home by 8 and laid on the couch and watched TV together :) Love my boo!
