We had to be out of our room by noon, but our flight didn't leave until 10pm - so we had a full day. We thought this would be great, but it was a looooong day of dreading saying bye to Maui.
We did the beach and then the pool... but our skin couldn't handle more sun or heat. We both started getting rashes and it wasn't fun - so we headed in a bit early. I took pics of Maui's beauty today.
This vacation was different than any of our others because we could get on the internet. We liked it of course, but it meant we didn't read near as many books!
This was Tripp's position most of the week :)
Pics of our room - it was a suite (all rooms there are), so we had a living room with a TV, room with our bed and a huge bathroom!
After being in the water and sun all day, the hotel let us shower and get ready for dinner in a hospitality suite. This was right before we went there - sad :(
We ate dinner at KO, the other nice restaurant at our hotel. Tripp got a lei for his bday :)
We absolutely want to go back to Hawaii! I did some research on some other islands when we were here... it was nice being in the U.S. and the island was beautiful. So thankful for a wonderful week with just the 2 of us - no worries, nothing to deal with. Pure beauty and happiness!
Took the red-eye home (my first time) to LA, then Houston, then XNA. We landed the next day (Saturday) at 5pm CST. We were able to sleep most of the flights, so we weren't too exhausted!
Tripp's parents picked us up from the airport and we went to RiverGrille for dinner to celebrate Tripp's birthday some more. We had the BEST meal (may be our new fav spot for a nice dinner) together.
