Saturday in Noe Valley

We spent the day in Noe Valley on Saturday! We took BART and walked to 24th street, right in the heart of Noe Valley.

We walked to our brunch spot first and saw this house on the way.

Chloe's for brunch - a very short wait and great meal!

We sat right next to the kitchen area - Chloe's is small, probably about 10ish tables inside.

Tripp got the breakfast sandwich and I got french toast - of course :) It was delicious.

After brunch, we headed to our first place. On the way, we saw this beautiful catholic church!

...and we also saw these yogis in the park.

Our first official stop of the day was Billy Goat Hill - a lookout point with a great view of the city. We made the trek up hills and MADE IT!

Love this view.

Same pic, but with an Instagram filter ;)

That's where we were standing in the pics...

We walked around cute houses and explored the neighborhood.

24th street is the main street in Noe Valley - lots of shops, restaurants and a Whole Foods. We walked up and down each side so we didn't miss any of it! Overall, Noe Valley was quiet with lots of families and charming :)

After walking around, we headed for some ice cream. We walked a LOT to get this ice cream all the way in protrero hill... but it was worth it.

After enjoying our ice cream sitting on the ledge on the street, we headed to explore Russian Hill... first up, Ina Coolbrith Park. It's an small, 8-acre park in the middle of the city. You could miss it if don't deliberately plan to see it.

View of Coit Tower.

I didn't know much about it or what to expect of our next stop - all I knew was to walk down Macondray Lane. We saw the street sign and some wooden stairs right next to a house. Tripp walked up first and yelled for me to come on up. We walked down a stone path past the front doors of cute houses with greenery everywhere. Yep - we found it!

This was the end of Macondray lane... we apparently started on the hidden side of the street ;)

The entrance in the pics above is at the top of this hill. We walked down it and it was SO NICE having the steps in the walkway. I wish all of the hills did!

It was a great day seeing new spots in the city. Loved it!
