AR in Aug

Back in Arkansas for a few weeks before Tripp comes to visit! We were originally planning for me to travel to CA, but Tripp had a work trip come up in Minnesota so he made a pit stop after that and spent a few days in AR :)

We had the best time when he was home. No holidays, no big events, just normal life with both of us in AR. Tripp worked from home and I went to work... and we had a few week nights and one weekend together.

Reggie and I snugglin' when I got back to AR. He is always sthooooo tired when I get home after playing with Rambo.

Saw-saw time! Jess kept him up for me so I could see him :)

One Friday at work we had a block on our calendars and didn't know what it was other than "lunch will be served." Turns out that day it was the anniversary of Hawaii becoming a state... so in true X'er fashion, we celebrated the hell out of it. We had hula dancers, roasted a full pig, cake AND the "oh no freak show" came to visit... we aren't sure how they were connected with Hawaii. It was interesting.

This lady "Boobzilla" - swallowing a 12 in sword.

Tripp's home! I woke up to the sound of the lawnmower going and it was like heaven. I knew Tripp was already up and walked outside to say mornin :)

One night we went to Table Mesa on the Bville square... love this place!

Then we walked around the square like we would if we were in SF... but this time we got to ride home in OUR car...unlike SF.

Andy's. duh.

Last stop of our date night - see MM at work!

Dropping Tripp off at airport to head back to CA :( I knew I was heading back to CA less than a week later, so the departure wasn't horrible.

My amazing client, Jess Hastings, is having a baby! We surprised her at her last creative review with some decorations and a team gift to her.

I was heading up to go get them (when they were walking a different way down to the room), so I missed the surprise! But she reenacted it for me :)

Part of our team. I am so grateful for this group of people. We started working with Jess a year ago and it has been the best year. I truly couldn't have asked for a better client, friend and partner-in-crime everyday.

We accessorized her up of course :)

This was her last day before mat-leave and I can't believe it. I will miss her every day.
