Sat Night at Town Hall

Saturday morning, Tripp and I were laying in bed talking about dinner plans and we looked at Town Hall on Yelp. We have passed Town Hall quite a bit since it is on our walk home on Howard St, but we hadn't been before. We saw fried chicken and cornbread on the menu and immediately made reservations for that night.

Started with bread and cocktails.

Had BBQ shrimp in worcestershire sauce as our appetizer. Yum!

I got the Seafood etoufee. It was so spicy and had too many creatures for this plain-jane girl. My mouth was on FIRE after 2 bites.
 

Tripp got the fried chicken and loved it. He gave me a leg and I thought it was delicious too.

Jalapeno corn bread - favorite part of the meal for me.

The atmosphere was awesome - loved the candlelight, brick walls and dark beams. Not what I expected!

True life of living in the city... walking home from dinner :) This walk was short, so I didn't mind it. However, only having the ability to walk for free is something we won't miss.

Despite the overpriced meal and slightly disappointing meal, it was a fun date night. We laughed a lot (usually at my expense) and we ended with creme de pot for dessert (which i pronounced literally when I asked Tripp what that was).
