Here's the story.
I took at job at Sam's Club and Tripp worked in Rogers, so it made sense to move back to Rogers to avoid us both commuting every day. Once we knew where wanted to live, we started driving through neighborhoods in the area of town that we liked (which was across town from where I grew up and not much was in this area back then - but now it's a fantastic location). We slowly drove through neighborhoods, wrote down addresses for houses that we liked and just took our time. Nothing jumped out at us and we weren't in a big hurry.
Then one random night in April 2013 after we drove up to eat at Bonefish in Rogers, I convinced Tripp to drive through some neighborhoods. When jammin' to My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (what we now call our lucky song) in the Camry, we pulled in front of this house and I squealed/screeched/whatever you wanna call it. I loved the outside - it was SO cute! Then I opened the door and ran to get the piece of paper with the details - and it was IN our price range! AND it had the number of rooms we wanted, with a back yard with a fence, etc.
We called the people living in the house the next day and scheduled an appoint to visit the house. We went and pretty much loved in inside as much as the outside... which I wasn't expecting to be honest. After seeing all of the house and talking about it later, we knew we were interested but had NO idea how to go about buying a house. I called my old boss from SSX as her husband is a Realtor and he was awesome. He helped us out and after going back to the house for another run through, we made an offer! They accepted the offer and boom, we had a house and a move-in date.
