LR Weekend

After a crazy week at work, I drove down to LR on Friday night and spent the night with Dougie. We met at ZaZa's (my favorite place in LR) and I had a glass of wine and a yummy salad :) We caught up on life and it was wonderful. I slept SO good at their house (after a week of crappy sleeping) and we got up on Saturday am for Jazzercise. 

Dougie was game to go with me, so we got a workout in and then went shopping :) We met at the LR stadium at 2pm to load up on the bus and head to Dumas! It was a 2 hour drive to Dumas and was the perfect opportunity to chat with Claire and Dougie! I miss them sooo much!

I didn't take very many pics at the party because it was so hot... but I did capture this. Mere walked out carrying a pet racoon and it was like paparazzi time in Dumas. The hostess has a pet racoon and the bride held it a LOT. Hilarious.

CA may be beautiful, but these Arkansas sunsets are hard to beat.

On Sunday morning, Dougie and I picked up Local Lime (same owners as ZaZa) and headed to Claire's house for some more time together. Mere came over and we sat at Claire's dining room table for hours talking. It was SO good for the soul and felt just like old times. These girls are my forever friends.
