Tripp and I went to Mexico to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and had the BEST time. We stayed at the Excellence Playa Mujeres and would highly recommend to anyone.
We *hope* to take a vacation, just the 2 of us, every year... just to get away and enjoy each other. Our anniversary is October 16th, but going over Labor Day week worked best last year when we went to Antigua... so we decided to do that again this year.
We didn't take many pics of us together, but lots of the resort... which we LOVED!! It was so pretty and we were SO lazy... which made it the best vacation ever.
Spending time with Tripp 24 hours of the day was just plain awesome. We laughed so much and had a great time together.
I read FOUR books during the week and Tripp read his sports magazines. Tripp suddenly felt the need to use Spanish and kept rubbing in that he could remember more words in Spanish than I could. He took like 2 classes of Spanish and I took 8 years. It was so sad... I couldn't remember ANYTHING.
Here are some pics of our fabulous week in Mexico!!
Love of my life. Cannot imagine having a better week with anyone else.

Our pool outside our room.
Our room. It was fabulous!
View from our balcony. The huts on the right is where we laid out every day. There was a bar 5 feet away from our chairs and we swam around in the lazy river over and over.
Another pic of our pool/balcony area. It was seriously large enough to host a big party.
Super cool chairs at dinner one night.
After dinner, Tripp and I played ping pong nearly every night. It got pretty competitive (and sweaty)!
Where I spent 98% of my day.
Happy Anniversary to us!
We went to the Michael Jackson performance one night at the resort
theatre and it was AMAZING. He seriously looked exactly like MJ. People
were walking up like it was a real concert and taking pics.
Overall, it was a WONDERFUL week. We loved every second of our time together and did not want to go back to the real world. Already looking forward to next year's vaca! :)
