Tree is up!

My favorite thing to decorate for Christmas each year is our hutch - we have Vietri Old St. Nick and I LOVE IT! It's so festive and fits perfectly in the hutch :) We received most of the pottery/china as wedding gifts and I love it all.

It has been raining non-stop, so we waited a while to let the tree dry off before bringing it inside. It is a 10 foot tree and it's BIG! Funny how much bigger it looks when you put it in your house as compared to at the tree farm.

Every year, Tripp gets super flustered when we put the tree up - it's just tradition at this point ha! Our tree stand is broken, so that's the main problem. Next year - we will get a new one for sure!

Tripp watched football and I decorated the tree. This year, I needed a ladder so he helped hold it in place and string lights to me. Here she is! :)

The amount of treats and pleading it took to get him to sit still was hilarious.

Eating treats :)

Love Christmas time!! So glad our tree is up so we can enjoy it the entire month of December.

Thanksgiving 2015 in Rogers

The day before Thanksgiving, I taught class then shopped around Fayetteville a bit. Tripp met me for lunch at Hammontrees. YUM. Sat at the bar and enjoyed soup + grilled cheese with my boo. We went to Underwoods after to look at some goodies so that's always fun :)

We hosted Thanksgiving again this year. Because the holiday had a Razorback game the weekend before and the weekend after, both of our families were in town. We had everyone who was in town come over.

We asked everyone to come over at 3pm with plans to eat an early dinner. Ms. Maas made a few appetizers that were delicious! I always try to claim I make them but everyone knows better ;)

I did "make" this! Blue cheese, honey and pear on bread - yes please!

The appetizer spread - shrimp stuffed with gouda + prosciutto and stuffed dates!

The dining room and tables where we ate. I tried not to go overboard or let myself get stressed this year. I did a lot of the setup the night before and the morning of.

I wanted everyone to be in the same room-ish, so we setup a card table close to the big table in the foyer.

My mom had cookies made that we used as place cards - so cute!

Pudd, Gdaddy, MA and Jay got me a set of Fall salad plates for my birthday so I used those - love them!

We served Apple Cider Mimosas with appetizers (and the usual cocktails) - swap the OJ for Apple Cider and it's fall bubbly :)

Mary Ann made homemade dog treats and Reggie was all over it!

Let's eattt!

The crew - we're so thankful that both Tripp and I's families can be in one roo and enjoy a holiday together.

After dinner, MA asked everyone to write what they were thankful for this year and then she read them all aloud. My boo and I were on the same page - DUH :)

Another rainy game the day after Thanksgiving - we beat Missouri. Woo Pig!

The Saturday after Thanksgiving, Tripp and I got our Christmas Tree.

We found it - got a big tree this year!

He just loooves pics. He is always happy we take them later once he sees this, so I still make us take them.

San Francisco Pics

We had our pictures taken in San Francisco before we left and I love them!

We went to 2 locations in the city - 1) Bernal Heights and 2) China Beach.
