Thanksgiving 2014 at Our House in Rogers

Tripp came home for Thanksgiving and instead of driving to Memphis and Helena, we talked his family into coming up to Rogers. So that meant we were hosting Thanksgiving! I actually had a blast preparing for it and I didn't allow myself to get stressed. Just went with the flow and I think it turned out pretty nice :) We were able to relax and enjoy the Thanksgiving break with family.

Kristin, Adam and Grayson came in on Wed night and they stayed with us at our house. Loved having guests!

On Thursday morning, we all stayed in our PJs and watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade - Tripp and Kristin's fav tradition.

We also made up Lego games... Grayson kicked all of our booties.

This is during the award ceremony...

1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner photo op!

Here are some pics of the Thanksgiving decor at our house so I don't forget!

My parents were in Memphis so Rambo stayed with us. He is the best dog - the Bettis fam fell in LOVE with him. He slept with one of them every night!

The bar area in the TV room.

You cannot see the details in pics, but I made custom placeholder cards for everyone. I actually came up with this idea on my own - no Pinterest inspiration! Tripp and I wrote out what we were thankful for about each person and then everyone had to find their seat by reading them.

Kristin & Adam left to go to the Ole Miss game, and Grayson stayed with the fam in AR. He spent the night with us one night - we all went to dinner, then he came back to our house and we watched a Christmas movie and he wanted to sleep on a pallet in the den with Rambo.

He was already out BEFORE dinner... :)

He slept until 11am! It was amazing!

I'm Obsessed

More pics of my Sawyer time! Cannot get enough of this little one :)

Hogs vs. LSU

Tripp came to AR a LOT in November - it was lovely! We were spoiled because we saw each other almost every other week in November.

On the day of the LSU game, I had a Jazzercise Live Stream event so a couple of the instructors went to Shannon's (owner) house and watched it. Really cool and fun new stuff coming to Jazzercise soon!

Later that day, we headed to the LSU game. We WON! Our first game in a loooong time. 17-0. It was so fun. The fans stormed the field. Craziness! I also got to see Mere - it had been way too long, but we finally got to catch up.

Ha - Mary Ann in all of her animal print and fur!

Helena Mayoral Election

Tripp's dad ran for Mayor of Helena - West Helena and won on 11/4! We were there to help and celebrate for about a week. We are so proud of him. He loves that city and I'm excited to see how Helena changes over the next 4 years.

Even the house was patriotic this week!

Candy on our pillows with Jay's card ha!

We are kind of treating like royalty in Helena... and we like it :) Mary Ann had champagne and chocolate for us at night. I could get used to this...

Tripp and I campaigning outside of Walmart :) I have to admit I was quite bored about 15 min in.

Taking selfies with Jay at his campaign headquarters.

Tripp and I cooked one night - of course we made my mom's tortilla soup. Because it is the best and perfect for football watchin'.

Pudd, Tripp's Grandmother, and I one night - I hope I'm just like her when I'm her age. She's fabulous.

Here are pics of the election night!

Memom and Rannan, my grandparents, came to support the fam! They stayed with Pudd & Grandaddy - love that our grandparents are friends.

My mom also came as well - dad had a pitch he was working on, so he couldn't make it.

Really sweet moment with Tripp and Jay - lots of happy tears!

Kristin & Papaw :)

Twinkies that night... although I didn't have a hat. I think she looks like J Lo ;)

Video that sums up the weekend - sad for it to end!
