Welcome to the world, Swayer Bailey Lais

Our best friends, Jess & Barrett Lais, had their second baby boy on 10/22/14... Sawyer Bailey Lais. They asked us to be the godparents and we were SO honored! I went to the hospital (Tripp was in CA) and waited with the families.

While we are waiting, Barrett is probably texting Tripp something dumb I said.

It was my first time waiting for a birth at a hospital - it was truly amazing. These 2 deserve it so much. Jess was a rockstar and looked gorgeous all day! It was such an awesome day - I'll never forget it.

Here are some pics of the cutest baby in the whole world!

I believe this is Jess saying "His hair is NOT red!" haha

I came back later on that night to spend more time with Jess, Barrett and Sawyer. It was just the 4 of us and I didn't want to leave :(

Tripp came to town the following weekend, so he got to meet Sawyer :)

October - Tripp's First Week Back in AR

When we were planning the first six months of living apart, we made plans for Tripp to be in AR the week of our wedding anniversary. He was able to go to the football game and be back in AR life for a bit!

He took the red-eye (bc he is super cheap) and got in at 9am. The razorback game was later that afternoon, so we went to tailgate. Someone was soooooo happy to see Reggie :)

For all those who thought I couldn't keep Reggie alive or happy, here is proof I got this. This was a few days before Tripp came to town.

They have started lighting up the stadium the night before the football games - so cool!

Got to see my Dougie!

Tripp sent my flowers to work (from Pigmint of course) on our anniversary (10/16) - swoooon!

We went to Bordinos for our anniversary dinner... our favorite! Who knew it would be such a blessing to be able to celebrate together in person on our 4th anniversary? My mom and dad had a surprise for us waiting at the table - the goblets we drank out of at our wedding reception with a bottle of champagne. So thoughtful. Cheers to 4 amazing years!

Tripp also sent me pears from Harry & David the week after he left... He had ordered them for our anniversary since they traditional gift for 4 years is fruit. Seriously - he is the best. They were so delicious.
